Bingo chips play an important role in a game of Bingo. Despite being a simple and fun filled game, Bingo is played with a lot of items that are little known. Like balls, cards, display boards, and daubers, Bingo chips also carry a lot of significance. These chips are used to mark numbers called so far on a Bingo board.

Bingo chips come in all size and colors. The traditional and most common chips are round and are made of plastic. They come in many attractive colors as well. And because their shape is round, it’s easy to pick them up. These are used with soft Bingo cards. Then there are transparent chips. These type of chips are used with hard Bingo cards. The most interesting chips are magnetic Bingo chips. These special chips are made of magnet and they are used with Bingo cards made of iron. One thing is common among all Bingo chips: these are all used to mark numbers.

However, Bingo chips are not used solely to mark numbers. Players love them so much that these chips are not less than a style statement to them. It’s hard to believe but players actually sometimes wear these chips as jewelery, to look professional Bingo player or to boost their luck sometimes. Some players use Bingo chips as aquarium gravel as well. God knows it’s only limited to the imagination of a Bingo player to use these chips at.

If you are planning to host a Bingo event at your home or office, you can easily buy Bingo chips from the market. You can also buy them online. You can buy these at most Bingo websites that sell Bingo goods and merchandise. These chips help you save money as well because instead of daubers, you use these chips to mark numbers. And as you are aware, these chips are reusable. Many Bingo halls are turning towards Bingo chips or shutter-based Bingo cards. After all, Bingo is all about winning.

As with any game bingo too has its own set of terms that are commonly used. In this article I will attempt to familiarize you with the common bingo terms you are inevitably going to encounter.

One player: When a player is one number away from winning.

Bingo board: This is the board that displays a random set of numbers, instead of the numbers being called out. This board is usually very large so everyone playing the game can easily view it. It also helps players who have missed the numbers or who are slow.

Buy in and minimum buy in: The minimum number of cards that qualify you as a player of the game. The buy in varies with each game. Minimum buy-in is the least amount of money that you will need to spend if you want to enter the game and be counted among one of the contenders for the prize up for grabs.

Caller: This person is an important part of the game however he or she does not play the game. The caller is a person that calls out the numbers as the numbered are drawn.

Coverall: This type of bingo game requires that all the numbers on the bingo card be covered in order to win. This type of bingo is not commonly played.

Dauber: In order to mark the numbers on the bingo card easily a pen with a thick foam tip is used. This pen is called a dauber and is thick enough to mark the whole number easily.

Bingo booklet: This bingo booklet has a number of sheets depending on the game. Each sheet is a different color. These sheets are organized in sequence in which the game will be played.

Six-pack and nine-pack: The number of numbers on a bingo card during a specific game.

Wrap up: This usually means the end of a game. Bingo is played at many times of the day and for each time there is a specific name for example: moonlight bingo which commences with the moon is seen. And the early bird game that starts very early in the morning.

Bingo terminology is fairly easy to pickup as with any other game in bingo you will have to utilize these terms in order to be a respected player. As with any game if you are new to it then you might forget or substitute the term for another word. But that’s ok as long as you have fun and make lots of friends in the process.

Bingo game has become one of the most popular games among all the casino games. It is no longer confined to children or elderly women. More and more players of all age groups are showing interest in this game because of its huge bonus offers and lucrative jackpot features. Online Bingo has opened the gateway for a fresh variety of Bingo board games as well. The set up of the Bingo game remains the same in online bingo as in traditional Bingo. However, instead of a real Bingo board on which numbers are displayed, the online Bingo board is virtual.

In the online version of Bingo board games, the tickets or cards are displayed on the computer screen before a new round begins. A player has to pick out any number of cards by clicking on them and paying for them as well. When the Bingo game begins, the Bingo Board gets revealed or lighted up and the ball numbers are called out. However, the player does not have to hunt for each number as it is called to mark it. If the auto daub feature has been selected, the computer will mark them automatically. This, in turn, makes it easier to play a larger numbers of cards than it is possible manually. There is simply no chance of missing a number, if the caller is moving too fast.

As all the action is related to the main board from which the numbers are picked and called out, Bingo is often called the Bingo board game. Though the board is seen online as well, it is the random number generator that picks the winning numbers. Most online bingo board games also have an audio facility to call the numbers in addition to flashing them on the board and auto-daubing them on the tickets.

Just as in normal Bingo, Bingo board games also come in various forms. New and innovative patterns are introduced routinely to make the online game more challenging. Some are easy and some are difficult. However with just a little exposure and practice, you will not only be able to understand the difficult patterns, but will be able to play on them and win as well.

Most Bingo Board games demand that players cross out the numbers called, or match a certain pattern with the numbers called or fill the entire card. Make it a point to read the rules of the game being played and understand which numbers you need to cross out, and in what order, to reach your goal.

It is probably fair to say that most people know how to play the game of bingo. It’s a simple and easy to learn game that involves crossing squares off bingo worksheets (also known as “bingo cards” or “bingo boards”) as items are called out, in random order, by the bingo caller.

While many of us have played the standard game of bingo, what you may not know is that many variants of bingo are now being used in today’s classrooms. Bingo is in fact being used as a teaching age for a variety of K-12 school subjects including English (particularly reading and vocabulary), math, languages such as French, Spanish and German, and even geography, history and science. Furthermore, versions of bingo are also being used in some adult education courses such as English as a Second Language (”ESL”) classes.

The main difference between education variants of bingo and the standard game is that specialized bingo worksheets are used. These contain items chosen by the teacher and specific to the subject or lesson, instead of the usual numbers found on bingo worksheets. In an English class they might contain items of vocabulary (the teacher calls out definitions, the teachers must match them to words), in math class, they might be answers to math problems read out by the teacher, and so on.

So the key requirement for a teacher who is considering introducing bingo in their classroom is this custom bingo worksheets.Obviously, it would not be a good use of class preparation time to write out a worksheet for each student by hand, but fortunately there is an answer – using a PC and some bingo worksheets creator software, the worksheets can be made very quickly and with very little effort.

When the weather is nice, the kids (and Mom) are itching to get outside and play. I personally like the playing to learn approach. Did you know theres an outdoor world of math and reading fun that awaits you, and all you need is sidewalk chalk, dice, and your imaginations? Anything we can do inside on paper can be done outside on the driveway or sidewalk, as long as we dont care if it eventually gets erased by rain or sprinklers. Not only do the kids and I get to exercise our brains but we also get to exercise our bodies. I get to stretch my hamstrings and quads as I bend over to draw game boards or numbers, and the kids get to hop, skip, and jump around. Here are a few favorite sidewalk games Id like to share. You can adapt any of them to the abilities of your children, and multiple ages can play together.

Numbered Ladder Game

Draw a long, long ladder with at least 25 rungs, each rung big enough for a kid to stand in. Number each rung starting with 1 and going to 25. You also need a dice.

Rules Grown-up throws the dice and the child hops up that many spaces on the ladder. If they land on an even number, they have to go back 1 space. Continue on until you have a winner.

Multiplication Ladder

Use the same ladder as above.

Rules – The child rolls 2 dice and multiplies the 2 numbers together. He/she then totally covers in the answer square with chalk (their choice of color.) They continue until theyve covered every square they possibly can, and then discuss why there are squares that wont ever be covered.

Division Ladder

Again, use the same ladder as above.

Rules – Hand the chalk to your child and ask them to put a yellow triangle around any numbers that can be divided by 2. Next have them put a blue circle around any numbers that can be divided by 5, a pink square around any numbers that can be divided by 10, etc.

Numbers Bingo

Draw out as many bingo boards as there are kids and put a number in each square. The kids can collect a pile of rocks or something for markers.

Rules – Depending on the skill level, yell out an addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division problem for them to solve. They then cover the answer with a rock. The one who gets bingo is the winner. You can change the mathematic function with each game.

The Reading Trail

Make a trail of boxes and arrows down the sidewalk. Draw a box, then arrows directing them to the next box, about 10 feet away, and so on. At the end could be a beautiful drawing, if youre artistically inclined, or a small prize, or a hug from you.

In each box, depending on your childs reading level, write a single word or a sentence.
Rules Your child starts at the beginning and cant move on until he/she can read the word or sentence.

Reading Obstacle Course

Set up an obstacle course with a sentence or word chalked between each obstacle. For example; sentence, zig zag around cones, sentence, jump through the hula hoop, sentence, balance walk on a length of string, sentence, jump over the blue river chalked on the ground. If you want, all your obstacles can be drawn on the sidewalk instead of using real items.

Rules – Read the sentence and go through the obstacle!

Color Me

Are you currently working on body parts, the circulatory system, or the heart? Let the kids chalk it out while narrating what they know. Themes like communities, animal lifecycles, wildlife, nature, your family tree, etc. are fun to draw out. Younger kids can work on color recognition.

The Alphabet Board

Make a giant game board with 25 squares. Put a letter of the alphabet on each square in random order, excluding the letter x.

Rules Each kid has to start at the beginning and take each square one at a time. They have to come up with 5 words that start with that letter/sound before they can move on. To make it harder for the older ones, ask them to also come up with a word or two that end with that letter.

As you can see, its fun to learn with a stick of sidewalk chalk in your hand. I hope these games get you outside and get your imagination working as you tweak them to fit your needs. Have a great time and may the rain stay far away from your creations!

The idea of wagering against unknown has long been inspiring for many. Had it not been the case, then the gambling sites would be broke by now. Gambling was married to web space a decade ago and the full-bloom union guaranteed online casinos a daily windfall. Things have always been terrifically inclined towards the House and yes, few and far between, gamblers have also procured fortunes from the online casinos. Another game that has been hotly pursued by gamblers across the world is Bingo.

What is Bingo?

Bingo is the game where you get cards in your hand and a matrix. The matrix has certain number variations. You have got to keep filling for those matrices which turn identical to the cards. When all the matrices are covered, you can shout “Bingo”. In the event of the house confirming your winning status, you get the winning booty. The amount depends upon the pot. Bingo allows crazy patterns. Few are static while the others are dynamic. The former one does not move over the matrix board and can only be set in one particular pattern. Except for these symmetric patterns, the other crazy variations can move over the board.

Bingo guidelines

While playing bingo online, you get the various benefits from playing from home. Even if you are a layman, you can use the odd calculators, software and tools and play a reasonable game. Online bingo gambling also entitles you to virtual demos, cash prizes and higher jackpot values. Having said this, always be guarded against the sites which offer far higher values of jackpot as generally these are the crooked sites with some nefarious interests. Select those sites which have a strong firewall and have hence made hacking of money deposit information difficult. Also, you must keep in mind that you need to adhere to sites which have a regulated betting feature and undergo constant audits.

Bingo Paypal

Bingo gambling is facilitated by online money-transfer units like paypal. With Paypal, you can deposit and withdraw your money fast without having to bother about the bankroll jams that create liquidity. You can also be comforted in the feeling that there is authentic machinery behind the money processing process. Paypal also provides secure bingo gambling and it does not ask for any credit card information from your side. Giving the CVV, anyone would vouch, is one of the most traumatic adventures for a player.

A part of every bride-to-be’s schedule is having her bridal shower. A bridal shower is a tradition originated in the United States and generally practiced in US and Canada. Bridesmaids or the bride’s friends and close female relatives are usually the one’s in-charge for this as a gift giving party for the bride before her wedding. This occasion means a lot for everyone as every bridal shower means fun exclusively for girls.

The bridal shower’s theme depends on the interest of the bride. It is because everyone has to bring her own gift to offer to the bride. It could be a kitchen shower, a lingerie shower, a tea party; the popular pamper-the-bride shower and so on. Aside from this, every bridal shower also needs a good icebreaker, as not every guest knows each other. With this, everyone gets the chance to know and be comfortable with each other as time passes by.

There are lots of bridal games often played in events like this. Games vary depending on the bridal shower theme. If you’ll base it on the theme and how fun it brings to the guests, the top five bridal shower games would be playing a bingo, scavenger purse hunt, making a toilet paper wedding dress, clothespin game, and making some arts and crafts.

In playing a bingo game, you need bingo boards (you can create or buy one), markers and about 3 to 4 prize items. First, you have to pass the boards to guests and ask them to fill the blanks about the gifts, which they think the bride will receive during the bridal shower. When the time comes that the bride has to open the gifts, instruct the guests to mark off all the items that are right. When someone wins as it marked about five items in a row, she gets a prize.

To begin a clothespin game you have to give everyone a clothespin upon her arrival and have to pin it visibly on her clothes. After that, you have to pick a keyword and tell everyone about the rules. Rules can be “no one can cross her legs” for the entire occasion or “no one can use the keyword” in describing the gift the bride receives. If someone catches a guest breaking the rules, she can run over and take that person’s clothespin. The person with the most number of clothespins in her clothes wins the prize.

Scavenger purse hunt and toilet paper wedding dress are done in groups. In purse hunt, everyone should choose about three things in their purse. Then you have to grade it by points, common things such as lipsticks can be graded five points and the rare items are of much higher value. The group who has acquired most number of points wins. In making toilet paper wedding dress, the groups are given enough time and rolls of toilet papers in doing the task. At the end, the bridal committee will be the one to decide on who made the most wonderful dress made of toilet paper.

Making some arts and crafts is for those who want to have a memory of the event. Do these by sharing some advice in married life or recipe tips and let the advisee explain it to others. After that, let the maid of honor gather all the pages and convert it into a scrapbook.

The numbers in the B column are between 1 and 15, in the I column between 16 and 30, in the N column (containing four numbers and the free space) between 31 and 45, in the G column between 46 and 60, and in the O column between 61 and 75. Players have thousands of unique (unduplicated) cards to choose from. Some manufacturers print unduplicated series of 6,000 cards. There are also series of 9,000 cards available. Hard cards and Flimsy cards have a series number printed on them. For example, card number 1252 will always have the same numbers in the same spaces.

Bingo Marker – A crayon or ink dauber that is used to cover the numbers on a bingo game card.

Blackout – (Also, Coverall) A pattern where you must cover the whole card to win. Usually 50 to 60 of the 75 bingo numbers have to be called to cover all the numbers on a card. But blackouts in as few as 43 numbers have been recorded.

Bonanza Bingo – A progressive coverall Jackpot that is usually played as the 13th game of the session. Forty-five numbers are drawn before the session and players mark them on separate cards and set aside. There is an additional fee to play this game, usually $1. The amount of the jackpot is determined by card sales for that game.

Breakopen – A multi-ply card, made completely from paper or paper products, with perforated breakopen tab or tabs. But sometimes the Early Bird game is merely the first game of the session. It’s like a Joker or a Wild square. You get it free every game and it counts towards your winning pattern.

Game Room – Some online games divide the players into game rooms.

Hardway Bingo (Hard-way Bingo) – Bingo in a straight line without the use of the free space.

House – A casino or gambling center/centre or a gambling hall/property.
